Members
Our members bring diverse interests, experiences and backgrounds to the Lewisburg Garden Club. Some have grown up in the Lewisburg area, while many have come from other regions and other countries. Among our members are those with extensive knowledge of plants, soils and growing seasons, expertise in floral arrangements, or experience in landscaping; others join us armed only with curiosity and a desire to learn.
All are invited to visit a Lewisburg Garden Club meeting and become involved. We meet the second Monday of every month at 12 p.m., except January, July and August, in the Fellowship Hall at St. John’s United Church of Christ on Route 192. Meetings begin with a social hour, followed by a formal meeting. Our monthly presentation programs are open to the public.
To become a Sponsor Member a member must have been an active member for five years. To change from active to sponsor member, a request must be sent in writing to the Second Vice-President, Membership; the executive committee must approve the request. Sponsor members may no longer vote but may attend all meetings and participate in projects.
